Background Story

4 years ago, he was listed as a suspect in a large tax evasion case in California.  The story was featured on many local sites as well as some of the bigger national news sites.

The Problem

Everyone Googling his name would see him as a fraud.

Even though all the charges were disproved and he was found not guilty.

For some reason negative stories always get more coverage and interest. That’s why only a few small mentions were made of him being not guilty.

It was our job to make sure the less popular part of the story was heard and our client’s image repaired.

What We Did to Solve it

We created and pushed up  approximately 45 social media and online profiles of our client to the top of Google.

We made sure his achievements are clearly displayed.  We left the news stories saying his was not guilty lower down the bottom, so that if someone wanted to check on that specifically, they could.

We've also contacted bloggers and journalists to amend their original articles and make retractions were needed. 

Overall, it resulted in a radically different image being presented to the public.
